Job Description
- Review and interpret project plans and specifications
- Attend owner project meetings
- Schedule and prepare subcontractor/supplier meetings as required
- Prepare project schedules and updates as required
- Prepare project schedule of values and monthly updates to owner for approval and coordination with AR for monthly submission
- Review job revenue and cost
- Prepare and coordinate submittal logs and submittal review for compliance to project plans and specifications
- Prepare project P.O’s, subcontracts and service agreements
- Provide material takeoff and ordering
- RFI review and submission
- Change Order pricing and client negotiations
- Job closeout and review
- Job site Safety Observation and review – Subcontractor Safety procedure review with Staff and Subcontractors
Job Qualifications
- Degree in Construction Management and/or Civil Engineering preferred
- 5 years prior experience for California Contractor in similar type work
- Experience with Computer software including Heavy Bid, Heavy Job, HCSS Plans, HCSS Safety, Spectrum by Viewpoint, Blue Beam, Primavera and Sketch Up.
- Ability to understand and calculate takeoff’s for estimating and change order calculations
- Ability to professionally communicate – Including both verbal and written
- High Document organizational skills
- Ability to clearly understand contract plans and specifications and provide clear interpretations
- Commitment to Safety of workforce and job sites
