Building Safe Storage Tanks—Ground Level, Elevated or Underground

Conco West, Inc. has constructed potable water storage facilities for many area municipalities and for industrial use.

Our projects have included the construction of numerous ground-level reservoirs, elevated reservoirs, and buried reservoirs. We have built welded steel reservoirs, bolted steel reservoirs, concrete reservoirs, and earthen lined reservoirs.

As the general contractor, we have completed more than 30 water storage facility projects. We have performed as a subcontractor to the tank fabricators and erectors on many more projects where site preparation, underground and foundation work were required.

Among our notable projects are the Well 12 Elevated Tank and Mistlin Water Tower, both elevated water tank structures. For the Mistlin Tower in Ripon, CA, Conco West, Inc. was responsible for the construction of a four-story elevator shaft and concrete deck platforms. Our tank foundation construction has been acknowledged by numerous tank erectors as superior within the industry.

Completed recently, the City of Modesto Industrial Tank 13 project added 4.0 MG of Potable Water Storage to the city’s potable water system. This project included a 4.0 MG Pre-stressed Concrete Storage Reservoir designed by DN Tanks, a Masonry Booster Rump Station featuring more than 10,000 GPM of pumping capacity, Electrical/Control System, Surge Control System, Backup Power System, and Landscaping.
